Software License & Terms of Use

These Software License & Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the DinnerGroup™ website and the DinnerGroup™ software application (“Software”). By downloading, installing, or using DinnerGroup™, you agree to these Terms.
License Grant
DinnerGroup LLC grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use DinnerGroup™ software solely for nonprofit church and religious organizations governed by U. S. Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3).
2. Permitted Use
You may:
Install and use DinnerGroup™ within your church or religious organization
Use the Software to organize and manage dinner group programs
3. Restrictions
You may NOT:
Sell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the DinnerGroup™ Software
Modify, reverse engineer or decompile the DinnerGroup™ Software
Remove or alter copyright notices
Use the DinnerGroup™ Software for commercial purposes
Use the name of the copyright holder nor the names of its contributors to endorse or promote products derived from this software without specific prior written permission
Represent the DinnerGroup™ Software as your own work
4. Ownership
DinnerGroup™ and all associated materials are the intellectual property of DinnerGroup LLC. This license does not grant ownership rights to the DinnerGroup™ Software.
5. Data Responsibility
All data entered into the software is stored locally on your computer. You are responsible for:
Data accuracy
Making and maintaining backups of your data
Data security and access to your system
Complying with any applicable privacy or data-handling obligations within your organization
DinnerGroup LLC does not collect, store, or transmit application data.
6. Website Use
Content on the DinnerGroup™ website, including text, graphics, documentation, and downloads, is provided for informational purposes and may not be reproduced without permission.
7. Changes to These Terms
DinnerGroup LLC may release updates or improvements. Updates will be posted on this page. Continued use of the website or DinnerGroup™ Software constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
8. Support
Self-Guided Support is offered on a reasonable-effort basis through:
support@dinnergroup.net. Optional support services are available on the website to provide additional assistance during initial setup or throughout a season.
9. Termination
This license is terminated if the terms of this agreement are violated. Upon termination, use of the DinnerGroup™ Software must cease.
10. Warranty Disclaimer
DinnerGroup™ is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. DinnerGroup LLC disclaims:
Implied warranties
Performance or accuracy
Fitness for a particular purpose
Warranty of merchantability
11. Limitation of Liability
DinnerGroup LLC shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use of the software, including but not limited to:
Data loss
Business or operational interruption
Inaccurate group assignments
Errors produced by incorrect user input
Damages exceeding the amount paid (Software is currently free)
12. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
